It's Been 3-1/2 Years!

It’s been almost 3-½ years since my last blog post!

I’ve been busy working on some new projects, giving community lectures and workshops, and developing services that I’m excited to share with you. Before I tell you about that, though…

How are you?

How are your energy levels?

Are you getting enough sleep? Are you sleeping well?

Are you staying hydrated?

This summer has been a scorcher! And when it’s really hot, my energy levels tend to wane, sleep is a struggle and staying hydrated is even more important. Yesterday, I experimented with a recipe based on a mocktail I had earlier in the summer. It’s a great option for hydrating this summer. I call it the Emerald Quencher.

Blend these ingredients together in a food processor or blender:

  • 3-4 lime wedges

  • 3-4 slices cucumber

  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil

  • Enough water to cover them

Strain the blended liquid into your drinking glass.

Sweeten with sugar--or I highly recommend pomegranate molasses. (I tried honey but it wouldn't mix in with the cold liquid.)

Add ice and enjoy!

Remember to stay hydrated throughout the day and prioritize your health and wellbeing. When you feel well, you can be your best self and do all the things that are most important to you.
